REQUIREMENTS
PASSPORT
Submit your original passport
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the application date
Passport must have at least 2 blank pages
Your passport must clearly show your full name and date of birth
If you do not hold a New Zealand passport:
You must have a New Zealand visa valid for at least 6 months (any visa type)
VISA APPLICATION FORM
Complete the Saudi visa application form fully
The form must be typed or written clearly in BLOCK LETTERS
PHOTOGRAPH
Size: 4 × 6 cm (passport-size)
Background: White
View: Frontal (face fully visible)
Age of Photo: Must be taken within the last 3 months
Attachment: Do not staple to the application form (loose attachment preferred)
VISA AUTHORISATION
Provide the visa authorisation number and date
This document is issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs
It must be arranged by your employer/sponsor in Saudi Arabia
Important Information About Saudi Residency & Work Permits:
- A residence visa and work permit are required for anyone who wishes to work in Saudi Arabia.
- The process may take several months and requires extensive documentation from both the employer and the applicant.
JOB OFFER & ELIGIBILITY
- You must have a formal job offer and a signed employment contract.
- Applications cannot be submitted without a confirmed job offer.
- Speculative or incomplete applications are not accepted.
QUALIFICATIONS & MEDICAL EXAMINATION
- You must provide evidence of your academic and professional qualifications.
- A medical examination is required as part of the application process.
VISA ISSUANCE PROCESS
- Once all documents are submitted and approved, a visa authorisation number will be issued.
- Your passport will then be stamped with the Saudi visa.
- Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the visa will be converted into a residence permit (Iqama).
ARRIVAL IN SAUDI ARABIA
- You may be required to undergo another medical examination after arrival.
- The residence permit (Iqama) acts as your official ID card and must be carried at all times while in Saudi Arabia.
